The Luwa Waste Separator (WSA/WSB) is an advanced solution designed to efficiently separate solids carried in the transport air stream. This includes textile fibre waste, smaller paper residues, and dissolved edge trims. With a high separation capacity, the Luwa Waste Separator is ideal for use in textile manufacturing processes, ensuring clean and efficient waste management.
How the Waste Separator Works
The separation of waste is achieved through a rotating screen drum. Waste is deposited on the screen drum, and a counterrotating bucket wheel strips the accumulated waste from the screen, conveying it downward simultaneously. This process ensures reliable cleaning of the screen drum and effective dust separation through the fibrous deposit.
Applications of Luwa Waste Separator
- Textile Outlets of All Kinds: Effective for synthetic, blends, and linen textiles.
- Nonwovens: Provides good fibre separation in nonwoven manufacturing processes.
Key Features of Luwa Waste Separator
- Efficient Fibre Separation: The Luwa Waste Separator offers a high separation capacity for waste fibres, making it suitable for the waste collection loop of the Rotary Pre-Filter (RPF) and direct machine extraction up to the nominal air volume.
- Reliable Cleaning: The driven bucket wheel ensures the reliable cleaning of the screen drum.
- Dust Separation: The fibrous deposit allows for efficient dust separation.
- Compact Design: The waste separator boasts a compact, robust design without pressure fluctuations.
